I feel Diesel needs more appreciation.

To me, he is THE TNT drummer. No other drummer TNT has had can groove like Diesel can. He just has a way with snares and bass drums that few others TNT have played with have. Johnny Macaluso may have had the speed, Ken Odin and Frode Lamoy the technical stuff, but none of them have the groove and snappiness Diesel have. From the beginning of TNT's long career, he was always a heavy hitter- contributing 10,000 Lovers In One and Everyones A Star among the songs he co-wrote.

You are right on to something there Smile

As Diesel said in an interview in a newspaper last summer " I might not be the best drummer, but I have my style"

I have only seen TNT with Diesel behind the drums, so I can't tell, but other people who have seen most of the other drumers, they say that when Diesel was back behind the drums, the sound just was right Smile

( I think Macaluso never played with TNT in Norway)

I think Diesel's playing is TNT, but as it's been said he isn't the most technical drummer out there. But the man can groove! Don't need more than that?

And btw; I saw TNT with Johnny Mac at Toten Hotel in 92 or something like that. Not sure if it was a official show, but it was a LOT of fun! And I think this was their last show in Norway before they broke up for a few years..

Couldn't agree more Diesel IS the TNT drummer. I also think that they never played with Ken Odin or Macaluso in Norway.
