Hi Folks
We have just finished our latest album 'High Scream Head' and the album is now available for FREE download at our website www.dangerousenemyforum.com
To celebrate the release we have put up all of our back-catalogue for free download also.
I will be coming to Norway in April for some of the Tony Mills solo gigs (and to cheer on 'Shredder') and will have some of our CDs to give out for free so if you see me there ask me for a copy...
Please visit the website, download the music and let me have any feedback you can (via the site 'Guestbook' Myspace or this thread) as it is always helpful to get the opinions of others.
Our band is a self-financed, UK based, independant so please do show your support in order to help us continue to provide music in this flexible & accessible way...

Kind regards & many thanks
Shaun@DEF

...I don't feel so bad about the £16.99 (and 6-pack of lager) it cost us to get the album cover artwork printed now!!! Laughing

125,000 dollars were wasted on SHY's disaster album, 'Misspent Youth' in 1989, reorded by Roy Thomas Baker in Los Angeles. Basically, too many high running egos and a producer who turned up on the first day only to be told he wasn't making unnecessary changes to songs in pre- production, so he turned round and went home to Arizona for two weeks instead. The consequent sacking of four engineers and a studio manager being banned from his own studio for hiring our lock out room to orchestras in our abscence, meant that desk settings were changed regularly without us expecting it. The personality clashes were at the forefront though and it ended up as the most expensive - and the worst product I've ever been involved in. A lot of other records I've written and recortded before and since that time for a fraction of the cost, have been far superior. It just goes to show that money and big names dont necessarily mean that you are destined for a successful record. Well done Shaun.

Always great to hear you retelling some old stories, even though this one might not have been such a great experience for you. Thanks Smile
