Just want to say how impressed I have been with the way you have held yourself, over the recent weeks.
With integrity, honesty and an openness. Even amongst some criticism and concern over having a new vocalist after many years of die hard fans being used to things a certain way. You have not lashed back or attacked.
I think you have shown great character!
I am personally, more impressed by these things, than an ability to make music.
Thank you also for your efforts in keeping the communication flowing on the forums, I think that has really helped.
I was guilty of expecting things to sound a certain way on the new album, and on the first listen I was a bit stunned. But now after a few more listens I am growing to love it. I think you have done an exellent job and really look forward to hearing the stuff live on June 1st.
It makes me proud to be English !
(must stop myself I'm getting a lump in my throat!!
Cheers

I can tell ya after i went to see TNT at Z Rock Mills is a classy person. He constantly replied to my emails telling me how to get from Birmingham to Dudley.I would have never found the place if it wasnt for him. When I got there i chatted with him for at least 30 min.He didnt have to do that at all.
Hes been taking alot of shit the past year.I agree Harnell is unreplaceable in his own respect. But Mills did a fine job ,hes really the only one (Besides Vic) who communicates with us here on the board.
I dont listen to reveiws but Andrew at Melodicrock really slammed it and its a good record. Its diverse
And LIVE Mills is Terrific so dont be fooled or don't think twice about going to see the band live.

I love Tony a lot because he puts so much time aside for us fans It ain't often the lead singer of your favourite band will bother to get in touch with you is it He's also got a remarkable talent and a sense of humour!
Not long ago I asked if I could have his babies... (I love him that much you see)
His reply was a beaut
"And no, you cant have my babies. I'm too busy wiping their asses."
And I love his cockney accent on the new album ... is it real, exaggerated or completely forced?! Haha

I must sing your praises too! Tone.
You are one helluva good guy. There are not too many
singers out there who would take time out of a very busy
schedule to reply to emails & forum posts.
Although I wouldn't go as far as Fangking. That was very funny.
But you know, I feel the same towards Ronni!
Right now, i am kicking myself. I wish I could make it to Oslo
by next week. Things are a bit insane at my house right now.
I will be keeping up with the tour schedule though. Maybe I can sneak away this summer to see a show. _________________ Raise a flag & leave a sign |

Thanks. It's been a year now with the band, and I've had a great time meeting so many amazing people in Norway. And it's crazy, you just dont know this shit goes on until you get out there and mix with everyone.
There has been good and bad, as in any situation. I've received praise beyond belief, hugs from a mad producer, lived with a rock legend, and received unbelievable and disgusting hate mail. Hey, this is rock n roll ! What else do you expect ?
I think it may have been a daunting and expectably difficult challenge for anyone to replace Tony Harnell in TNT and sure enough, it has had it's hurdles to cross. But TNT have now become a new life for me. They - (I have to get used to saying 'WE' !!!) are a very active band - there's always something going on. I think a lot of UK bands would be stunned to experience the activity of a band like this over in Norway.
I can understand the enthusiasm that Ronni brings to people as well; he has amazed me over the last year, he is such an inspiration to everyone around him and like a true star, has little to say about that and really shrugs his shoulders over it all. He might as well say, 'So what ?' But that's Ronni, as I've grown to understand. A remarkable, private man, that under any spotlight can release the most unexpected comments and amaze people as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
With regard to the oncoming year, we have a busy schedule thanks to the chart success of the new album, with 22 shows booked currently, I guess that will grow, hand in hand with the intention of moving outside of Norway as well; these things take time.
A great band for sure, when it makes you smile, you know it's right. But when it makes you laugh your head off, and all the hairs stand up on your arms at the same time, then you know you've made the right decision.
I'm looking forward to the future. It's looking good. With an incredible fan base, a commendable record company, a high profile ( with an appropriate depth of controversy - which is always healthy !! ) and a decent charting product, I'm ready to go and give it my best shot. And I know the band all feel that way too.
Many thanks
TonyM. |

The reason why I donīt like the new album is NOT Tony Mills!
Itīs the lack of good songs. I only like 2 out of the 13.
Normally I like all songs on a TNT record. In fact the new one contains more average songs than on all other TNT albums together.
And thatīs the problem - not Mr. Mills! |
