| I realize that the actual holiday is specific for the USA but I wanted to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving and peace in your hearts. In thinking about what I am thankful for - the new TNT Cd (Thanks Bajas for your help), health, happiness, family, friends, Obama and the many pies and cakes I have already prepared. Love and high energy - April in the lovely Garden State |

Hi April. Welcome to this messageboard. I'm glad you like the cd. Thanksgiving is not something we celebreate in Norway, the way you do it in the US, but here in this messageboard, we are a big TNT family, so it's a right place to tell is about that day. _________________ Take it like a man -Woman! |

So, while America parties through its Thanksgiving we have to wait a month for Christmas in the UK ! Well, by all accounts, they are having a great time at it ! Jagg has been cooking far too many pies and I have been receiving messages from all over the world wishing me a happy Thanksgiving; we English should really adopt this festivity, because we are obviously missing out on something !
Anyway, to all TNT fans worldwide, whether you are from America or the far east, Norway or some other distant country, if you are celebrating Thanksgiving, then dont forget to save us some cake - Bajas ate all his, so there was none left when I got there ! Alternatively, if you have to wait for the Chinese New Year, then you have it even tougher than we do, you have to wait longer ! But from the UK, December is nearly upon us, and the madness that is Christmas in the UK has already took its hold and there are queues everywhere for everything and chaos ensues. Still, surely enough, it's a time for merriment and for the celebration of other people and a time for thought. It has been another busy year for TNT and we have met many of you again on the road in Norway; you have been faithful to the band as ever and it has been a pleasure to play for you.
The live performances are complete for 2008 and now we look forward to 2009 with hungry hearts to be on the road in different countries to promote not just new material, but to air old favourites as well; just to play for TNT fans wherever they are is enough for us.
So, have a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, a wonderful New Year - and Chinese New Year - and stay healthy and happy. Above all, thank you for your tremendous support this year, you mean a lot to us.

| Our table was very international in that we hosted friends this year and one family is from Germany having moved here 6 yrs ago and the other family down the street is British so we had a LOT of food and a LOT of red wine at the table. Officially I am sick of pumpkin, apple, berry pies (I am allowed to say that because I am the cook) and so hung over on wine it's not funny. I guess it perserves me somewhat but man, three days of entertaining and traveling to other friends has left me spent. The kids are high on sugar and running around the house like Lord of the Flies - you have to mind for the babies in our group! I can report there was no blood shed yet but that can change in the next 49 hours. The guys prepare to go pheasant hunting and with any luck we might have something to prepare but if not - I have fresh caught Bass on hand. Have a great weekend! April (too old for the hair of the dog treatment) |
