Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Yay! I really agree with their review here! Melodic Rock just can't spot a good release. Wink

There is little doubt that Mills and Le Tekro found kindred spirits in their affinity for ‘60s and ‘70s pop music, and it shines through here....While TNT took a beating for The New Territory, in many ways, they seem undaunted and without a doubt, completely unapologetic. This is who TNT is today; they are never going to write “10,000 Lovers” again.

Amen to a great review. Here's hoping Melodicrap.com loses all its sponsors and shuts down. It's not irreplaceable. Even the tracks Atlantis and Me & Dad have thoroughly grown on me (grafted even) and this easily stands as, hands down, the best release I've ever heard from TNT. There's a spirit in the music that has breathed new life into a band that was already full of life to begin with. The band wears its modern-retro heavy melodic rock vibe very well. They sound sincerely inspired on this one.

You must remember that Andrew would get a short man from New York on his neck if he gave Atlantis a good review Razz

So that's why he gave Live In Madrid a poor review? He wanted to be smacked by a New Yorker? Razz

Hei min venn! That's a bit harsh to say that andrew is a shill for TH, because while we clearly recognize that andrew and his minions are biased, I am sure it is not at anyone's request. A lot of those boring traditionalists just hate that things have changed. Whatever the love-hate between ronni and TH, I personally know that TH is nothing less than 100% supportive of Mills and wouldn't engage in something so base.

Ah! Thank you!

Point being with melodic rock, it's a melodic rock website/forum. It's what they like.

Hay...If you look close, its a Razz at the end. If i believed this myself, i would added a Twisted Evil

Tony and Andrew is friends and he will not make a really bad review for a Harnell release. But i dont think he is stupid enough to slaugther a TNT release because of it.
And yes, Tony likes Mills singing. But he wont hear him sing when its in TNT. Strange person that Harnell guy Arrow Laughing

Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz

That one got 75 %. Not bad when you remember that Andrew wrote that Tony's vocal was playback.

I would never give a "live album" 75 % if that was the truth.

To be honest....i got that feeling too when i hear Madrid.
Ok..its "fixed" a bit in the studio but after about 30 concerts with TNT and Harnell, i never heard him sing even close to what he do on Madrid.

But i dont care. "live" for me just works when you are at a concert. Never liked ANY conserts at cd and dvd's.

From Seven seas and out, I think there are no post production. For me, this is the best part of the cd/dvd. I love the end og seven seas, where Diesel and Ronni suddenly close the song, while Victor and Harnell is ready to end. Take another look if you dont have noticed Laughing

Those last songs on the dvd, and Everyones a star from SwedenRock are how it used to sound live.

I think TNT where one of the best bands at SRF that year. To bad they played only 1 hour.
