I suggest you two settle off-topic issues thruogh PMs.
Since you haven't seen the band live with TM yet, Ski, I suggest you wait until you do to judge the album so harshly. There are however some of us who has found magic in this album without seeing it live. But the Rockefeller gig 1-Jun only made me feel stronger about being right. The New Territory contains some kick ass songs. Some of them are top 10 ever TNT songs.
Play it loud, and sit and listen to the album a few times. No, it is not, and will not be a TH with TNT album. It was never meant to be, and that disappointment may cloud your verdict, as it had with so many others on different forum. This is the product that the band gave us, and all the band members are 110% behind the result. It's a known fact that you cannot please everyone, and no matter what they have produced, there would be someone who would strongly voice their disapointment.

the album dont get better or worse if you see them live. the experience and feelings you have for the band changes.
i said to vic that frankly i think the gig at strømmen was no fun. but with the new record, that i dont find bad at all. but very very different. and the show at rockefeller. they have really gotten the hang of it. that show kicked ass so hard that it walked straight into my top 3 TNT shows ever. easily.
i think the next record will settle things a little bit _________________ www.bbsociety.com |

if you find the magic in there then good for you...
besides taste is a subjective thing.
have you noticed that you and many more do the same thing that i do.
we just post opinions? the diference is that many people can't stand diversity... different opinions...
so cool it!
p.s.: i don't think so that is so big deal that i post 4-5 lines as for saiyng something to castorfiber...
i could find many posts here that is out of topic and noone react.
is about who post it...
but i don't give a shit anymore about some people here... for what they saying about the "black sheeps" of this forum.
you know, one member of tnt said: shut up and respect for some reason to some people.
so i have the right to demand the same thing in this forum.
SHUT UP AND RESPECT and don't try to patronized with this or another way anyone who post an opinion or several lines for something to do
with the previous poster. _________________ www.bbsociety.com

| Wow. I just wanted Petri to know that the magic is still there, and for me easier to find when you hear the band live. |

And is was that discussion I was asking if you could take to PMs. It's got nothing to do with the topic which is about The New Territory album.
Hawkiiz: The live enhancement feeling of songs was brought up by castro, | Quote: | | You should hear the songs live. The magic is back for many more, I think. | and I agree with him that that sometimes is true, mainly because the whole live setting allows the performers to show off the true meaning of the song. And of course, often quite the opposite can happen (Queen's We are the Champions was never meant to be a football hymn ) Desperate Nights is a great song, but after hearing it played live, it's taken one notch up towards awesome.

i guess i was a bit unclear. i meant that the album itself. the recorded thing dont change. it there, on plastic. but your experience with the band as a whole changes if you see them live. for me to the better _________________ www.bbsociety.com |

| Everyone I have talked with, says that the Rockefeller gig was awsome. and I agree. In Skien, I was standing inside, while they was playing outside. And belive it or not, tree people I have talked with, who was both on Rockefeller and Skien, says that they played even better in Skien. So Lerkendal going to be a blast... |

They have a import cd of The New Terrirory on www.CdOn.Com.
http://www.cdon.com/product.phtml?prod=1496730
Never heard about the label PID either. Does anybody have any clue of where this release is imported from? and what it contains?
They have the EP's Taste and Give Me A Sign too. And the price is some of the most expencive TNT cd's I have ever seen. |

| I like some of the songs, but most of them are bored, its a shame that they find a great voice to replace Mr Harnell but can't take back the magic of Tnt's sound...... |
